We believe that this Cheerwine sign was originally painted in the 1930's on what used to be Rufty's Grocery on Park Avenue. The sign was uncovered during the building restoration when an adjacent building was removed. In addition to the sign, the building has now been refurbished and will serve as a neighborhood community center.

We attempted to bring this sign back to life while still maintaining its historic character. See our "In the News" section for an article on this project.
